Template:
When choosing my template I had to contemplate about what type of first
impression I wanted people to get when they see my blog. This template has
grasped my personality and how I want other people to perceive me. I think of
myself as a very cultured person who is always trying to explore and learn new
information about previous civilizations. This template triggers that inner
curiosity, and its format is very structured as the blog post and the about me
area are separated in a way to focus attention solely on one aspect of the
blog.
Title:
I will be playing devil’s advocate in this blog; therefore this title
represents the fact that I will be trying to bring about new ways of thinking
to otherwise already well accept concepts.
Color:
The color that I chose is one that sets a calming mood, almost classical, that evokes
an inquisitive feel to it. It’s something that isn’t distracting and doesn’t get
obnoxious.
Font:
I chose two different fonts, one for the title and another for the directory.
The title is simple but traditional, as it gets the point across without any
distraction. The other font is used to connect the viewer with the template and
give that historical feel to it.
Pages:
I
chose to create separate pages in order to keep things more structured and
organized. I used a different page for my blog analysis in order to separate my
analysis from future blog posts about my beliefs.
Philosophize:
I like how my blog turned out. I feel like it has a sophisticated yet
intriguing style. It is very organized which was the main aspect in my mind
when creating this blog. This is because I am the antithesis of what someone my
age should be like when it comes to technology, therefore the simpler the
better. I had a tough time creating this blog at first but after getting used
to the format everything pretty much started rolling. With this blog I expect
to put forth my convictions and hopefully be able to convince the viewers of my
point of view, as well as learn new things from my fellow peers. I am excited
to become a part of the blogging world which I have heard so much about in the news,
which has been able to galvanize entire populations and start revolutions.
